Hotel History

The Thelbridge Cross Inn has been the hub of the community within the parish of Thelbridge for over 200 years. The current owners, Bill & Ria Ball, have researched the local history, particularly that of the inn itself and the past pub landlords and their families.

They have produced a historical portfolio which contains an abundance of old photographs, census records, newspaper clippings, anecdotes and stories which have been provided by local residents and relatives of people who used to live in the area.

The walls of the inn are adorned with old photographs and historical memorabilia, and also an extensive bank note collection.
